Leaving for Madrid, Spain
Posted on January 24th, 2009 by Zach Smith
Just when I get back to New York and get settled back into a routine, things get crazy again! I submitted a workshop proposal to Medialab Prado called ‘Build a 3D Printer’ and it was accepted. The result: I’m flying to Madrid for a 3-week, intensive RepRap workshop. Its going to be a blast, and I’m very excited about the cool things that are going to come out of it. I fly out Monday, January 26th and I’ll be back on Monday, February 16th.
If you’re in Madrid, you can apply to be a collaborator and come hack on RepRap for a couple weeks with me.
Don’t worry about orders though. My lovely girlfriend Jen will be filling orders for me while I’m away.

Your girlfriend is awesome! I can’t imagine asking my wife if I could go away for 3 weeks even if it was around the corner.
Has there been any RRRF news to blog about since you’ve been back from Spain. I know there were a few things on RepRap.org and I also notice your MakerBot Industries site. Is MakersBot going to contribute to RRRF?
Hey David,
Sorry about the lack of postings. I’ll have an epic blog post up later today about the latest developments.
Cheers,
Zach
